Superior Auto Center has a training center for aspiring mechanics and car enthusiasts. Our professionals offer vocational classes with hands-on experience in a local business. Mark and Denise DeMercado started the mechanics school the Superior Auto Apprenticeship program (SATP) in September 2010. In 2011 they were recognized by the Cayman Islands Youth Commission for the programs benefit to the Young people of Cayman. This is a great alternative for young people who cannot or do not wish to attend school overseas.
Classes are held from 8am to 4pm every weekday and balance classroom and hands-on learning. While class enrollment is small, we continue to grow and promote the program in the community. This program is free to all young Caymanians who are accepted. All students must pass 52 JAGAS classes with minimum scores of 70 percent in order to achieve level one mechanic assistant status. This program is fully accredited through the Jamaican German Automotive School (JAGAS) and Heart Trust/NTA and is Internationally Recognized for Level 1 and Level 2 Automotive Mechanic Certification.
Our mechanic team can adjust the speed of the program to meet individual student needs. If you are interested in the mechanics training program at Superior Auto Center, talk to Our Staff to learn more about applying and enrollment.
